Day 1 – Arrival at Gangotri

  • Arrival at Gangotri

Day 2 – Gangotri to Bhojbasa (14km)

  • Trek begins towards Chirbasa
  • Gradual ascent along Bhagirathi River
    Scenic views of glaciers & peaks
  • Overnight stay at Bhojabasa

Day 3 – Bhojbasa to Gaumukh to Tapovan

  • Early morning visit to Gaumukh
  • Cross glacier to reach Tapovan
  • Stunning views of Mt. Shivling
  • Overnight stay at Tapovan

Day 4 – Exploration Day (Tapovan)

  • Acclimatization & exploration
  • Photography & rest
  • Overnight stay

Day 5 – Tapovan to Bhojbasa

  • Descend back to Bhojbasa
  • Overnight stay

Day 6 – Bhojbasa to Gangotri & Departure

  • Trek back to Gangotri
  • Return journey
